I mean, it’s a Star Wars toy, so it’s technically from a galaxy far, far away. But I digress. As soon as I opened the box, I was blown away by the 5 minifigures that came with it – Chancellor Palpatine, Commander Fox, 2 Coruscant Guards, and Padmé Amidala. It’s like having your own mini Clone Wars battle right in your living room!
My friend Timmy came over to play with it and he was obsessed. He kept making up his own stories and battles with the gunship and the minifigures – it was hilarious. And let me tell you, this thing is built for action! With 2 pilot cockpits, 2 stud shooters, and 2 adjustable cannons, you can recreate all of your favorite aerial battles from The Clone Wars. Plus, there’s plenty of space inside for troopers and equipment – just pull down the rear hatch and slide open the side of the gunship.
I have to admit, I’m not usually one for following instructions when it comes to building LEGO sets. But with this gunship, I actually used the LEGO Builder app to help me out. And let me tell you – it was a game changer. Not only did it make building easier (and way more fun), but I could also zoom in and rotate the set in 3D to get a better look at all the details.
